Kingdom Holding Company – Thirty Years Of Visionary, Worldwide Investment

Established by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal in 1980, as Kingdom Establishment for Commerce and Trade (a name changed to the now familiar Kingdom Holding Company in 1996), KHC has gradually expanded and refined its holding portfolio within carefully selected industries.

In keeping with the company’s considered approach to growth, KHC’s entry into each new industry was carefully planned and strategically structured to capitalize on the company’s unique reach and credibility.

As of 2007, KHC completed the transformation from a private company to a publicly quoted operation with a cohesive mission and accountability to outside shareholders.
