Prince Alwaleed Receives Cambodian Secretary of State, Minister of Labor & Advisor to PM

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received HE Mr. Othsman Hassan, Secretary of State, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Advisor to the Prime Minister of Royal Government of Cambodia HE Mr. Samdeh Hun Sen. Mr. Hassan was accompanied by Mr. Khek Ravy, Senior Advisor of Secretary of State, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Shazman Hakim, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Kingdom Hotel Investment (KHI), Dr. Nahla Nasser Alanbar, Private Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mr. Hussam Alsulaiman, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman.

 

The meeting began as Mr. Hassan thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet him. During the meeting, Prince Alwaleed and Mr. Hassan discussed investment and economic issues. Furthermore, Mr. Hassan commended Prince Alwaleed on his efforts in playing a vital role in economic, humanitarian and social development, and referred to HRH’s local, regional and international investments. The two also discussed Prince Alwaleed’s investments in Cambodia through KHC via the hotel sector. 

 

In 2007, Prince Alwaleed visited Siem Reap, Cambodia. His Highness met with HE Mr. Sok An, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and Minister in charge of the Offices of The Council of Ministers at the Office of the Council of Ministers. The Deputy PM hosted a dinner in honor of Prince Alwaleed at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal where the Prince was also given a tour of the premises.

 

Prince Alwaleed’s investments through KHC in Cambodia in the hotel sector via Raffles management, include Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Siem Reap and the Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh.
