Prince Alwaleed Receives Consulate General of the Republic of Nigeria to Discuss Investment Issues

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received at his office His Excellency Mr. Sani Saulawa Bala Aminchi, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who was accompanied by Mr. Bashir Ibrahim Maaji, First Secretary Nigerian Embassy to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Heba Fatani, Senior Executive Manager, Corporate Communications Department and Dr. Nahla Alanbar Private Executive Assistant to HRH the chairman.

The meeting began as Mr. Aminchi thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. During the meeting the two discussed economic, social and humanitarian issues. Also on the agenda of discussions were investments in Nigeria especially in the real estate and hospitality sector. Moreover, Mr. Aminchi also presented an invitation on behalf of the Nigerian government to Prince Alwaleed to visit his country.

In response, Prince Alwaleed welcomed the invitation and promised to visit Nigeria in the near future. Prince Alwaleed’s investments in Nigeria through Kingdom Holding Company are in the banking sector via Citigroup.
