Prince Alwaleed Receives Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade & Environment

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received HE Ms. Lenita Toivakka, Minister for Foreign Trade & Environment and an accompanying delegation that included HE. Mr. Pekka Voutilainen, Ambassador of Finland to Saudi Arabia.

 

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Hassna Alturki, Executive Manager for International Relations to HRH the Chairman, Mr. Fahad Bin Nafil, Senior Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mr. Ahmed Altobaishi, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman.

 

The meeting began as the Minister thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving her and the delegation the opportunity to meet with him. The two touched upon the latest regional and international developments on the social and economic front, and the bi-lateral economic relations between their respective countries.

 

Furthermore, the Minister discussed investment opportunities in Finland and extended an invitation to HRH to visit the country. Moreover, Ms. Toivakka expressed her government’s desire to attract Prince’s investments to the country, and said that her government will strive to facilitate and overcome any difficulties or obstacles hindering the success of HRH’s investments.

 

In 2013, Prince Alwaleed received HE Mr. Jan Vapaavouri, Minister of Economic Affairs and an accompanying delegation.

 

KHC’s investments in Finland is in the banking sector through Citigroup.
