Prince Alwaleed Receives Turkish Ambassador

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office in Riyadh, HE Mr. Yunus Demirer, Turkish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Heba Fatani, Senior Executive Manager, Corporate Communications Department, Ms. Hassna Alturki, Executive Manager for International Relations to HRH the Chairman, Mr. Fahad Bin Nafel, Senior Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mr. Ahmed Altobaishi, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman. 


The meeting began as the Ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. During the meeting, the two discussed a number of general local, regional issues and the global economic climate. Moreover, the two discussed investment and social issues related to their respective countries in addition to HRH’s investments in Turkey through KHC.


In 2015, Prince Alwaleed visited the Republic of Turkey and met with HE President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey at the presidential palace in capital Ankara.

In 2009, HE Former Turkish President Abdullah Gul hosted a luncheon in honor of Prince Alwaleed at the presidential palace in capital Ankara during the Prince’s trip to Turkey. Moreover in 2007, the Prince received Mr. Erdoğan and his wife Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, and an accompanying delegation at Kingdom Resort and hosted a luncheon in honor of his guest; the two also met in Jeddah in 2005.
